Founded in 1954 in Barcelona by the Vieta brothers, it was the first Spanish company dedicated to consumer electronics and the manufacture of high fidelity components.

In 1954 they launched the Vieta A/100 tube amplifier.

In 1956 the A/200 amplifier, accompanied by the first turntable manufactured in Spain.

In 1972 Vieta creates a High Fidelity system entirely developed in Spain. Formed by an integrated amplifier, a turntable and two loudspeakers with proprietary technology, which becomes a real bestseller.

Vieta launches in 1980, omnidirectional loudspeakers whose reproduction quality has been recognized by specialized critics worldwide as one of the best existing of the 80s.
They were intended to be placed on the sides of the listener instead of in front to provide an absolutely three-dimensional presentation of the music.
An unprecedented effort in which new materials and elaborate techniques were used.

In 1987 he launches the legendary Vieta L'Adagio, which were exhibited at the legendary Museum of Modern Art in New York, as an example of innovative design.

In 2006 Vieta diversifies into four business units: Vieta Car, Vieta Headphones, Vieta Home, and Vieta Mobile.
