Mullard high fidelity equipments

Mullard is a brand created by the British company Mullard Radio Valve Co. Ltd, founded in 1920 in London. The company partnered with Philips in 1923, creating a new line of valves with the prefix PM (initials of both companies). Later Mullard Radio Valve Co. Ltd would end up selling all its shares to Philips, so Mullard became a brand used by the latter until 1988.

In 2007 this legendary brand was put back into production by Mike Matthews (New Sensor), at the Saratov factory, together with Sovtek and Electro Harmonix. New production began with the EL34 and ECC83, valves that had achieved great popularity in the 60s and 70s, although they are currently also manufacturing EL84, 6L6, 6V6, KT88, GZ34 and ECC82.
